"Volunteering at HMS was both eye-opening and exciting. We spent the hour there setting up and then interacting with the kids. Since everything was musically-based, we helped kids get geared up for square dancing, playing instruments along with the musical instructor, and forming a hip-hop dance circle. It was a great time! I'm definitely coming again."

Selected Student Testimonies:

"I had a great time shadowing Dr. Bachrach (and his staff).  [....] I really enjoyed looking at x-rays, scans, test etc on the computer.  He very clearly explained what I was looking at (especially because I haven't had much exposure to that yet).  Even though I drove myself, I thought it was great that there was the van available to use.  Awesome!"
-Stephanie R., PT Student

"The visit with Dr. Miller was awesome.  I REALLY enjoyed watching the surgeries.  I found it fascinating and Dr. Miller and the nurses working with him were very open to questions.  I learned so much about what these operations entail and gained a lot of understanding about how these patients will be presenting in a physical therapy evaluation the day following the operation."
-Ananya R., PT Student

"The day was absolutely phenomenal, Dr. Bachrach was so nice and a great teacher I cannot express how valuable this experience was for me. I had never been exposed to cerebral palsy and we saw a great variety of patients I really learned a lot. I would love to go back again. Thanks so much for the opportunity!"
-Lara M., Medical Student (MS-I)
